This May, Eataly is unveiling a new project to celebrate Italy’s most beloved national dish: pasta. Named Icons of Eataly, the 6-month series will feature an ongoing program of special dishes, classes, and events dedicated to the humble combination of flour and water that has become one of Italy’s finest culinary achievements. 

Join us in this complimentary cooking demo as guest chef, Soo Ahn, Executive Chef of Adalina, showcases how to culturally blend different styles of food to create unique dishes. Soo will demonstrate how to make Adalina's popular pasta dish, Mafaldine using Almond Chili Oil as the base over Italian ingredients such as porcini, capers, nutmeg, fennel seed and more. At Adalina, they have fun with their pastas finding inspiration from various backgrounds blending them to create distinctive dishes. Guests will receive a sample of the dish in class paired with a glass of prosecco.

Adalina is a refined hospitality destination serving a modern and engaging Italian menu in a timeless yet alluring setting in the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood. Led by Michelin-starred chef Soo Ahn, previously with Band of Bohemia, Adalina's menu creates a balance between Northern and Southern cuisine, providing expertly staged shared plates along with strong statement items that satisfy a table.

• Class includes a pasta-shaping and cooking demonstration by Soo Ahn, Executive Chef of Adalina.
• Seating is guaranteed but is first-come, first-served. Doors open 10 minutes before the start of class.
