Celebrate the unique history of Italy’s fresh pasta traditions during our pasta shaping demonstration with Italian Chef Deborah Dal Fovo. During this pasta workshop, Chef Deborah will demonstrate how to make pasta dough from scratch with the perfect consistency by using flour and water to create a myriad of interesting shapes using only your hands - no rolling machine needed. This pasta is typical of Southern Italy and Sardinia and made with semolina (semola rimacinata) flour. During the class, you can try your hand at making pasta shapes with Chef Deborah’s guidance and learn how to create a quick sauce to dress the finished pasta.
During this complimentary pasta-shaping experience, Chef Deborah will offer recipe ideas, answer any of your pasta-related questions, and introduce you to the culture, creativity, and history behind everyone's favorite food.
