The 'ORO' Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Zamparelli is obtained from hand-picked and cold-pressed of Frantoio, Leccino olives, and ancient local olive varieties Ortice, Reciopella, Ortolana that grow only in the mountain area of Benevento in the Campania region. This extra virgin olive oil is not filtered.

On the nose, it has soft undertones of freshly cut grass, fresh tomatoes, white apple, and almonds.
On the palate, it is sweet and fruity with a good equilibrium of spice and bitter.

Olive Varieties: 80% blend of Ortice, Recioppella and Ortolana, 20% blend of Frantoio and Leccino.
Pairing ideas: seafood dishes, raw and cooked vegetables and mushrooms. A delicious oil for finishing sauces and soups.

The Zamparelli is a family run company located in Cerreto Sannita near Benevento, in the mountain area of the Campania region. The Zamparelli family has about 24 acres of ancient olive trees dating back to 539BC. The slightly sloping and south-facing terrain is located at an altitude of between 885 and 1033 feet above sea level. The whole estate is equipped with a drip irrigation system.
