Villa Magra: harmonic, rich in herbaceous notes, artichokes and a balanced spicy-bitter ending. Olivastra Seggianese is a light fruit monovarietal oil made from the ancient Olivastra Seggianese olive trees, unique to the Amiata Mountain region of southern Tuscany. Le Trebbiane is a blend of 40% Frantoio, 10% Moraiolo, 40%Leccino, and 10% Olivastra cultivars, giving it a broad flavor, rich in grassy scents, with hints of artichoke and tomato, without being too peppery. The olives are hand-picked from the east-facing olive grove of the same name. Villa Magra is the name of the flagship oil produced by Frantoio Franci, as the first oil that the family produced bore this name. A name derived from the centuries' old olive grove devastated by the 1985 winter freeze. Replanted in 1987, it lies on the north/north-eastern slopes of Montenero d'Orcia. The villa magra has vegetal notes of thistle and lettuce and aromatic notes of mint, rosemary, and pepper.
