The Moresca IGP Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Frantoio Cutrera is made exclusively from the Moresca olive variety hand-harvested from mid-October to mid-November in the Noto area of southeastern Sicilia. The olives are cold-pressed and give life to a green colored oil, slightly cloudy due to natural decantation. The aroma is fresh, fruity, very intense with notes of pronounced green tomato and aromatic fresh herbs. On the palate, it is well-rounded elegantly fruity, with artichoke, aromatic fresh herbs, fresh greens, and slightly spicy at the end.
It is perfect with grilled fish, grilled meats, vegetable soups, and fresh cheeses.
