The Robusto Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Corona delle Puglie is made exclusively with Coratina olives. Coratina olives are hand-picked at the beginning of the season in the country of Puglia region, in the Southern part of Italy.
The Robusto extra virgin olive oil has an herbaceous, grassy and spicy flavor.

Olive Varieties: 100% Coratina (monocultivar)

Pairing ideas: bread, pizza, pasta sauces or fresh cheeses like mozzarella or burrata

Literally translating to the "crown of Puglia," Corona delle Puglie is part of the Convan Cooperative, founded in 1959 to protect and promote the region's prized Coratina olives. Corona delle Puglie is a cooperative of 70 farmers with 3,000 acres. Corona delle Puglie produces only 100% Coratina extra virgin olive oil. The olive mill is in Bitritto close to Bari area in the region of Puglia.
