The Ortice Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Zamparelli is obtained exclusively from hand-picked and cold-pressed of the ancient local olive variety Ortice that grows only in the mountain area of Benevento in the Campania region. This extra virgin olive oil is not filtered.

On the nose, it has a medium intense fruitiness with notes of olives, herbs, fresh tomatoes, spinach, freshly cut grass and green apple. On the palate, there is a medium spiciness with notes of bitterness. It is well balanced with tones of fresh tomatoes and vegetables.

Zamparelli is a family run company located in Cerreto Sannita near Benevento, in the mountain area of the Campania region. The Zamparelli family has about 24 acres of the ancient olive trees dating back to 539 BC. The slightly sloping and south-facing terrain is located at an altitude of between 885 and 1033 feet above sea level. The whole estate is equipped with a drip irrigation system.
