The Frutto dell'Olivo Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Melchiorri is made with a blend of Umbrian olives that are handpicked and cold-pressed using the traditional granite millstone. This extra virgin olive oil has a medium fruitiness with a mild pungency, with almond and spice undertones.

Olive Varieties: 50% Frantoio, 25% Moraiolo Olives, 25% Leccino.

Pairing ideas: bread, salads, sauces, pizza, grilled meats, and vegetables.

Fifty years ago, Gianfranco Melchiorri started producing extra virgin olive oil in the region of Umbria, and today his son Alessandro continues the tradition and strong passion for his craftsmanship. Oleificio Melchiorri proudly represents the culinary masterpieces of the region of Umbria. Oleificio Melchiorri also makes truffle tapenade and mushroom paté.
