The Delicato Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Corona delle Puglie is made exclusively with Coratina olives. Coratina olives are hand-picked at the end of the season in the countryside of Puglia, in the Southern part of Italy. At the palate this oil is harmonious, delicate and well-balance with notes of herbs and artichoke. The aftertaste is spicy, which is typical of Cotatina olives. Don't be fooled by its "delicate" name – this olive oil is made with late-harvest Coratina olives, which are more mellow, but the resulting olive oil is still bold and zesty as is typical of this variety.
It is perfect with bread, raw fish dishes or fresh cheeses like mozzarella or burrata.
