De Mori was started in 1974 by Doriano De Mori, who began baking and selling hand-made bread to local shops around his town. In 2001, with his son Simone, he began expanding his production to include other baked goods such as breadsticks and pastries.

Payment in full is required at the time of registration and all sales are final. No refunds are offered on classes and events. For groups of 5-10 guests, a minimum of 7 days' notice is required to receive a credit in the form of a coupon for a future class or event.
