Master Italian baking techniques with Chef Cesar Barachina; just a recipe away from making your own homemade bread. Good Baking is about more than just recipes, it's about techniques. In this class, we cover the essentials and science of flours and yeast to the mixing dough, and importance of proofing. You’ll get hands-on practice shaping Italian Rustic Bread and Focaccia to make perfectly crisp loaves from the oven. Then we’ll drizzle a fine selection of Extra Virgin Olive Oil on our slices of perfection to enjoy with family and friends.
Join us at La Scuola di Eataly Dallas as we enjoy a Hands-On Bakery 101 Class, learning the secrets of Italian artisanal bread. In this class, guests will:
· Learn the basics of dough making
· Enjoy your bread and focaccia creations
· Sip Italian wine perfectly paired with a small platter of Salumi & Formaggi
· Take home with you the recipe card and tasting notes
· Hands-on classes are limited to 15 students
· You will be sitting, standing, and working for the portion of the class. It is recommended to wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
· Make new friends!
