Terra e mare literally means “land and sea”—the Italian version of “surf and turf.” It refers to any dish that combines seafood with meat or mushrooms or other items found inland. In this class, we'll combine ’Nduja (a spicy pork salami from Calabria) with fresh shrimp and housemade squid ink chitarrine pasta to create a dish that incorporates both worlds. In this class, students will: 

  • Discuss seasonal ingredients from both terra (land) and mare (sea)
  • Prepare the dish under the guidance of La Scuola’s chef
  • Enjoy your dish paired with a wine chosen by an Eataly beverage expert
  • Take home adapted recipes, and tasting notes

Class duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes. All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce valid government-issued identification to prove they are 21 or older.
