Mark your calendar and get ready to kick off the holidays! Chef Lidia Bastianich is coming to Eataly Chicago. Join us Saturday, November 19th at 12:00 p.m. for an afternoon featuring an exclusive holiday-themed cooking class, special lunch and book signing with the renowned chef.
Emmy Award-winning chef, cookbook author, restaurateur, and more — Eataly partner and beloved chef Lidia Bastianich gives us plenty of reasons to celebrate!
On Saturday, November 19th, we are excited to spend an extra special afternoon with Lidia at Eataly Chicago. Hosted by the chef herself, this class will feature a holiday-themed menu curated by Lidia in collaboration with Eataly Chicago's Executive Chef, Samuel De Los Santos.
Cooking alongside Lidia, Chef Sam will demonstrate how to make three of Lidia’s favorite recipes from her latest book Lidia’s A Pot, A Pan, and A Bowl. As you savor each bite, Lidia will be sharing her insights about the menu, cooking secrets and reflections from her latest cookbook. As no Italian meal is complete without wine, our beverage expert will pour perfectly-paired Bastianich wines selected by Lidia herself to complement the menu.
Your ticket includes a three-course pre-set menu, paired with Bastianich wines, and a reusable Eataly tote bag including a copy of Lidia’s A Pot A Pan, and A Bowl, a jar of Lidia's sauce, and a box of Lidia’s pasta.
In this class, guests will:
• Enjoy an afternoon class from 12:00-1:30pm with Lidia as she presents her latest cookbook: Lidia’s A Pot, A Pan, and A Bowl
• Observe as the Chef of La Scuola demonstrates how to make three of Lidia’s dishes, step by step
• Enjoy a three-course menu: Winter Panzanella, Skillet Chicken Thighs with Cerignola Olives and Potatoes, and One Bowl Olive Oil Cake. This menu will be paired with Bastianich wines selected by Lidia herself.
• Take home a copy of Lidia’s A Pot, A Pan, and A Bowl (signed in-person by Lidia) along with a reusable Eataly tote bag filled with Lidia's pasta and sauce, all included in the class ticket price.
Please note: Each ticket includes (1) copy of Lidia’s A Pot, A Pan, and A Bowl. Book is non-refundable and non-returnable. Class duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes. Seating is classroom style; your seat assignment is based upon date of ticket purchase. Check-in begins 30 minutes prior to the class; guests will be allowed into La Scuola beginning 10 minutes before class. This class includes a cooking demonstration and tasting and is not hands-on. All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce a valid government-issued identification to prove they are 21 or older. This is a pre-set menu experience; we are not able to accommodate any dietary restrictions.
