Plissé - Black Toaster

The Plissé Black Toaster by Alessi is a toaster in a thermoplastic resin part of Plissé, a collection by architect and designer Michele De Lucchi inspired by the high-fashion technique of pleating fabric to create voluminous, three-dimensional designs. The Toaster combines the functionality of plastic with a sculptural design to obtain an object not only useful but also perfect to be left on display on the countertop of your kitchen.
This Black Toaster is composed of a main body with a power indicator light, a toasting adjustment knob, a lifting lever, a cancel, defrost, and bagel buttons, a crumb tray, and allows for up to six browning levels.
