“We cook what we sell, and we sell what we cook.” Eataly is an original “marketplace” model inviting consumers to be active participants in an innovative food and beverage experience where they shop, taste and savor high-quality, traditional, Italian food products and beverages along with local produce and artisanal products. This multifunctional marketplace includes a premier retail center for Italian delicacies and wine, a culinary educational center and a diverse slate of boutique eateries. Eataly ambassadors are here to provide a high-quality experience to all of our guests, whether you are here to shop or enjoy a meal. Retail purchases may be made at our main checkout area located at the 43 East Ohio Street exit. We encourage first time guests to visit our Guest Relations Desk, located inside the 43 East Ohio Street entrance.

  1. Do you have “take-out” foods?

We offer a small assortment of prepared foods for take-out, including panini, roasted meats and a selection of sides and focaccia. Our restaurants do not offer delivery or take-away service.

  1. Are your restaurants and market children-friendly?

Children are very welcome at Eataly. While we do not have a children’s menu at any of our restaurants, we can offer children under 12 several simple pasta dishes in each of our restaurants (excluding La Piazza and Birreria), such as pasta with butter or tomato sauce.   1. What is your return/refund policy for items purchased IN-STORE?

We take great care and pride in selecting the highest quality products for our customers. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please bring it back within 7 days for an exchange or store credit. Returns/Exchanges on housewares items are made only if products have been unused and are returned in their original packaging.   1. Do you bake any gluten-free bread/pizza in the market?

At this time, Eataly does not bake gluten-free bread. Our in-market baking facility, which uses gluten flour, would compromise the environment for a person who must consume gluten-free products.

  1. Do you carry gluten-free products?

Eataly carries a line of gluten-free pastas from Garofalo. A number of items at our Venchi Chocolate and pastry counters are gluten-free, as well as select packaged cookies and crackers.

  1. Do you carry any kosher products?

Eataly does carry kosher savory and sweet items. At our Venchi Chocolate counter, ¾ of the chocolates are kosher certified. You can choose from blocks of milk, white and extra dark chocolate as well as Chocolight, which features Piemontese hazelnuts (a Protected Geographical Indication ingredient). Additionally, Lidia Bastianich’s dried pastas are all kosher.

  1. How do I purchase a gift card?

Eataly offers two types of Gift Cards so you can share good food with everyone you know: An E-Gift Card is redeemable at (online only) and an In-Store Gift Card is redeemable at Eataly locations in the USA. Gift cards can be used in the marketplace, at our restaurants and to purchases classes at our cooking school, La Scuola. In-store gift Cards are available for purchase in any denomination at the main checkout area; they are not redeemable online at this time.

  1. Do you provide gift wrapping?

We do not currently offer gift wrapping (in-store or online). The only exception is that our gift boxes are delivered in special Eataly gift boxes and tied with Eataly ribbon.

  1. Do you have free WIFI at Eataly?

Yes, Eataly is proud to offer complimentary wireless internet service. The network to connect is named Eataly-Guest.

  1. How do I reach Eataly Chicago via Public Transportation? 

Eataly is located two blocks from the Grand Red Line Station at Grand Avenue and State Street. A number of CTA buses stop in close proximity to the store, including the 29 State, 65 Grand, 125 Water Tower Express, 143 Stockton/Michigan Express, 146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express, 147 Outer Drive Express, 148 Clarendon/Michigan Express, and 151 Sheridan. The closest Divvy Bike Station is located on Grand Avenue at Wabash Avenue.

  1. What parking garages are close to Eataly Chicago?

The closest garage is located one block west of Eataly at 10 East Grand Avenue and is accessible via Ohio Street, State Street, Grand Avenue, and Wabash Avenue. With a $20 Eataly purchase (from any restaurant or retail counter), the following parking rates apply:

- 61 minutes-3 hours - $10
- 3 hours or more - Regular Prices Apply (No Discount Offered)

Eataly also offers valet service, located at the 43 East Ohio Street entrance and at the entrance to Baffo, 44 East Grand Avenue.

Eataly has twenty-three eateries, seven of which are sit-down restaurants. Six of them are located on the second level marketplace, and the seventh, our fine dining restaurant Baffo, is accessible via a separate entrance at 44 East Grand Avenue or from the second floor marketplace.
