La Birreria is our rooftop restaurant and microbrewery that offers the highest quality craft beer and food under the stars and skyline. Don't worry about the weather: our retractable roof and heaters keep us open in all seasons – rain, shine or snow!
BEER & FOOD
In collaboration with Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head, Teo Musso of Baladin, and Leonardo Di Vincenzo of Birra Del Borgo, Eataly's head brewer is brewing unfiltered, unpasteurized, and naturally carbonated cask ales just 30 feet from where you sit, eat, and drink. Each is served through traditional hand pumps at the perfect temperature, so you can enjoy our beers in the most natural and traditional way.
La Birreria's menu conjures the family-style feasts of an Italy influenced by Austria and Germany. The focus on hearty fare feels convivial and comforting (think: deeply flavorful mushroom entrees, beer-braised pork shoulder, housemade sausages, and grilled meats).

MEET THE BREWERY
New York is lucky to be surrounded by a number of craft breweries. We invite you to meet the people behind the beer at our series, "Meet the Brewery." As you get to know each brewery, our bartenders offer small complimentary tastes of the beers on tap, so you can discover new favorites. Our head brewer, Fred Avila, will also be on hand to discuss Eataly’s selection of craft beers, which he brewed in our onsite microbrewery.
